PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fishing method and a tool for engaging during floats flight to be used for the fishing method which allow accurate casting to a point with a reduced labor.SOLUTION: In the fishing method and the tool for engaging during floats flight to be used for the fishing method, a fishing line 3 is attached to a fishing pole 1 and comprises at its distal end at least a weight 13, a device 9, a float stopper 7, a float 6, and a float stopper 11. Engaging means 15 which is engaged and flies with the fishing line 3 during the flight of the float 6 due to casting but is disengaged from the fishing line after landing on water is interposed between the float 6 and the float stopper 11.
