Disclosed herein are delivery systems with associated capsules and associated methods for delivering prosthetic heart valve devices. Delivery systems configured in accordance with embodiments of the present technology may include, for example, a first housing, a second housing slidably disposed within a portion of the first housing, first and second housings. A delivery capsule having a prosthetic device constrained within two housings. The delivery capsule can further include, in part, first and second chambers defined by first and second housings. During deployment, fluid is delivered to the first chamber, causing the first housing to move distally over the second housing, thereby releasing a portion of the prosthetic device.
