PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire that makes improvement in support properties of the front end compatible with improvement in shaping easiness due to ensuring of flexibility.SOLUTION: The guide wire 1A includes: a core wire 2 a coil body 3 that covers the core wire 2 the foremost end 4 to which the tip of the core wire 2 and the tip of the coil body 3 are fixed and a resin layer 6 formed on the outer peripheral surface of the core wire 2.
