A wearable thorax percussion device for dislodging mucous buildup in theairways of a humanpatient, the device comprising frame elements and electromechanical actuatorsretained by theframe elements to intermittently percuss the thorax, and an electroniccontroller and powersource for generating and modulating an electrical signal to energize theactuator. The frameelements may be interconnected by a garment, or fasteners and elastic oradjustable strapping.
