The present invention relates to an antioxidative composition comprising hexanedioic acid as an active ingredient. There has been no report to date about the study of antioxidative activity of hexanedioic acid. According to the present invention, it is demonstrated that hexanedioic acid has antioxidative activity against active oxygen. Thus, hexanedioic acid can be used for an antioxidative composition.
