PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small animal trap which prevents collapse of a path in the vicinity of embedment of a cylindrical body, certainly induces a small animal moving the path into the cylindrical body, does not allow the small animal having fallen into the cylindrical body to creep up and escape, and allows downsizing of the cylindrical body to the utmost.SOLUTION: A lateral cylinder part 12 is extended in a nearly horizontal direction from a cylindrical body 10 such that the lateral cylinder part 12 is fitted in a path L of a small animal in a state that the cylindrical body 10 is embedded such that a cylinder axis direction becomes a nearly vertical direction.
