The present invention provides a method of treating a subject suffering from a fatty liver disease which comprises administering to the subject a Notch decoy protein or Jagged inhibitor in an amount effective to treat the subjects fatty liver disease.The present invention provides a composition comprising a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier and an amount of a Notch decoy protein or Jagged inhibitor effective to treat a fatty liver disease.The present invention provides a package comprising:(a) the pharmaceutical composition of the invention and(b) instructions for using the pharmaceutical composition of step (a) to treat the fatty liver disease.
