The invention relates to medicine, in particular to the thoracic surgery and may be used for upholstering the residual cavity after removal of hydatid cyst from the lung in the surgical treatment of pulmonary echinococcosis.Summary of the method consists in that it is increased the volume of inhaled air by 30…40 mm of water column with a reduction in the residual cavity of 1.5…2.0 times, is removed the fibrous tissue and the thinned lung tissue disposed on the lung surface, adjacent to the cavity, then is treated the cavity, is passed a retention suture through the fibrous wall, at 0.3…0.5 cm from the wound edge to the bottom of the cavity, and is applied a blanket suture at the bottom of the cavity, then with the same suture from the opposite edge of the cavity in continuation is sutured with single-layered sutures the walls of the residual cavity, in the projection of its maximum diameter, to the full closure of the cavity, and the suture is ligated in the place of application of the primary suture on the lung surface.Invenţia se referă la medicină, şi anume la chirurgia toracică şi poate fi utilizată pentru capitonarea cavităţii restante după înlăturarea chistului hidatic din plămâni în tratamentul chirurgical al hidatidozei pulmonare.Esenţa metodei constă în aceea că se măreşte volumul de aer inspirat cu 30…40 mm ai coloanei de apă cu micşorarea cavităţii restante de 1,5…2,0 ori, se înlătură ţesutul fibros şi ţesutul pulmonar subţiat situat la suprafaţa plămânului, adiacent cavităţii, se prelucrează cavitatea, se trece un fir de sutură prin peretele fibros, la 0,3…0,5 cm de la marginea plăgii până la fundul cavităţii, şi se aplică o sutură în surjet simplu la fundul cavităţii, după care cu acelaşi fir de la marginea opusă a cavităţii în continuare se suturează în acelaşi plan pereţii cavităţii restante, în proiecţia diametrului ei maximal, până la închiderea completă a cavităţii, iar firul se ligaturează în locul aplicării suturii primare pe suprafaţa plămânului
