PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a corona discharge generating device and a sterilization device which uses the same intended for abolition of a blower.
SOLUTION: The corona discharge generating device includes its body case 1, having an air outlet 3 and a corona discharge generator 5 mounted in the body case 1. The corona discharge generator 5 is equipped with an insulator substrate 6, a resistance layer 7 mounted on a surface of the insulator substrate 6, and discharge electrodes 8 oppositely arranged at a predetermined space on the surface of the resistance layer 7. Discharge generating materials generated by discharging to the resistance layer from the discharge electrodes 8 flow out from the air outlet 3 to the outside of the body case 1 by the air flow generated by the discharge to the resistance layer 7 from the discharge electrodes 8.
