A nutritional composition, in which lipid, carbohydrate, and protein are blended with pectin selected to have a degree of esterification of 10 pcnt -30 pcnt , a degree of amidation of 0 pcnt -25 pcnt , and a free acidity of at 64 pcnt -85 pcnt , allows nutritional components to be ingested or administered while effectively preventing diarrhea, and allows a stable viscosity to be maintained even when stored in liquid form.
