PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termite-proofing composition preventing the decay of cellulose materials such as wood and paper constituting the base of a bait material without lowering the drug action of a chitin synthesis inhibitor having slow and non-repelling action on termite and without inhibiting the biting of termite.SOLUTION: The termite-proofing composition contains (A) a triazole-based microbicide consisting of a compound such as azaconazole, etaconazole, propiconazole and bromoconazole and (B) a chitin synthesis inhibitor consisting of a compound such as hexaflumuron, lufenuron, flufenoxuron and bistrifluron. A termite-proofing material is produced by impregnating the termite-proofing composition in a base material comprising wood, sawdust, shavings, paper or other base material of cellulosic material. The contents of the triazole-based microbicide and the chitin synthesis inhibitor in the base material are preferably &ge0.01 kg/m3 for the triazole-based microbicide and 0.01-10 kg/m3 for the chitin synthesis inhibitor based on 1 m3 of the base material.COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT【課題】シロアリに対して遅効的、非忌避的に作用するキチン合成阻害剤の薬効を低下させず、しかも、シロアリに対する食害を阻害させずに、ベイト材の基材を構成する木材、紙等のセルロース材料の腐朽を防止することができる防蟻組成物を提供する。【解決手段】(A)アザコナゾール、エタコナゾール、プロピコナゾール、ブロモコナゾール等の化合物からなるトリアゾール系殺菌剤と、(B)ヘキサフルムロン、ルフェヌロン、フルフェノクスロン、ビストリフルロン等の化合物からなるキチン合成阻害剤と、を含有している防蟻組成物とする。この防蟻組成物は、木材、大鋸屑、木材削り屑、紙、又は、それら以外のセルロース材料で構成される基材に含浸されて防蟻材料とされる。前記トリアゾール系殺菌剤と前記キチン合成阻害剤との基材への含有量は、好ましくは、該基材1m3 に対して、トリアゾール系殺菌剤としては、0.01Kg/m3 以上であり、キチン合成阻害剤としては、0.01~10Kg/m3 の範囲である。【選択図】なし
