PURPOSE: An antimycotic and antibiotic composite coating agent for a high efficiency particulate air(HEPA) filter and the HEPA filter coated with the same are provided to improve the sterilizing force of the HEPA filter by using 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate and polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride.CONSTITUTION: An antimycotic and antibiotic composite coating agent for a HEPA filter includes 0.1-2 weight% of 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate, 0.1-2 weight% of polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride, 0.1-2 weight% of zeolite, 2-8 weight% of a binder resin, 1-3 weight% of a stabilizing agent, 73-80 weight% of purified water, and 5-10 weight% of alcohol. 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate increases the antimycotic effect of the coating agent. Polyhexamethylene biguanide hydrochloride increases the antibiotic effect of the coating agent.
