PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substitute bone block that has excellent bio-absorptivity and sufficient mechanical strength.SOLUTION: A substitute bone block or the like having a plurality of through holes in one direction and having bio-absorptivity is provided. Here, the surface roughness Ra in the through hole preferably is 1 μm to 100 μm. Also, the diameter of the through hole preferably is 20 to 2500 μm φ. Also, the ratio of the volume occupied by the through holes to the volume of the entire block including the through holes preferably is 25% or less, or 50% or more. Also, a mark indicating the direction of the through hole may be provided on the surface of the block where the through hole is not provided.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1【課題】優れた生体吸収性と十分な機械的強度を有する代用骨ブロックを提供する。【解決手段】一方向に貫通孔を複数設けた生体吸収性を有する代用骨ブロックなどを提供する。なお、貫通孔内の表面粗度Raは1μm～100μmであることが好ましい。また、貫通孔の直径が20～2500μmφであることが好ましい。また、貫通孔も含めたブロック全体の体積に対して貫通孔の占める体積の割合が25%以下又は50%以上であることが好ましい。また、ブロックの貫通孔が設けられていない面に貫通孔の方向を示すマークが設けられていても良い。【選択図】図１
