PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mowing implement capable of performing stable work without adhesion of foreign substances such as soil to a gauge roller to stabilize the height of a reaping part.SOLUTION: The mowing implement includes the roller type gauge roller 7 attached in the rear of a reaping rotor 56. The gauge roller 7 has a rotation shaft in the horizontal direction, and is grounded on the surface of a reaping place for stabilizing the height of the reaping part. The gauge roller 7 has a scraper 71 for removing a foreign substance attached to the outer periphery of the gauge roller 7. The scraper 71 is plate-shaped whose end surface is along the outer periphery of the gauge roller, and parallel to the longitudinal direction of the gauge roller.
