The invention relates to a process for dyeing and/or lightening keratin fibres using direct dyes of styryl or naphthylamide type bearing a (C1-C18)aminoalkyl group. The dyeing process and the composition according to the invention make it possible in particular to obtain long-lasting, intense, chromatic and/or homogeneous colouring on the keratin fibres.L'invention concerne un procédé de coloration et/ou d'éclaircissement de fibres kératiniques au moyen de colorants directs de type styryl- ou naphtylamide portant un groupe amino(alkyle en C1-C18). Le procédé de coloration et la composition selon l'invention permettent en particulier d'obtenir une coloration durable, intense, chromatique et/ou homogène sur les fibres kératiniques.
