The present invention relates to direct dyes of the azomethine type of formula (I) below: as well as their use for dyeing keratinous fibers, in particular human keratinous fibers such as the hair. The invention also relates to a keratinous fiber coloring composition comprising, in a medium that is suitable for coloring, such direct dyes. The subject of the invention is also a process for dyeing keratin fibers using said dyeing composition, as well as a device comprising it. Finally, the present invention also relates to the precursors of these direct dyes.La présente invention porte sur des colorants directs de type azométhinique de formule (I) suivante : ainsi que leur utilisation pour la coloration des fibres kératiniques, en particulier des fibres kératiniques humaines telles que les cheveux. L'invention concerne également une composition de coloration des fibres kératiniques comprenant, dans un milieu approprié pour la coloration, de tels colorants directs. L'invention a de même pour objet un procédé de coloration des fibres kératiniques mettant en oeuvre ladite composition tinctoriale, ainsi qu'un dispositif la comprenant.
