PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit a gas therapy apparatus from being continuously used in a state where the treatment of a therapy gas (e.g., hydrogen) is not sufficiently worked.SOLUTION: An electrolysis unit 10 includes a tank 200 for holding solution for electrolysis, and electrodes (a positive electrode 103 and a negative electrode 105) for applying electrolysis to the solution to generate a therapy gas. The electrolysis unit 10 is configured to be attachable/detachable with respect to a body of a gas therapy apparatus 1. A resistance detection part 14 detects a state of resistance of the electrodes (the positive electrode 103 and the negative electrode 105).
