The present invention relating to a device for sterilizing a portable terminal comprises a case which enables the screen area of the portable terminal to be exposed； a UV LED installed in the case and irradiating ultraviolet rays to the screen area； and a power supply unit which supplies power to the UV LED. The sterilizing device can be taken with the portable terminal all the time by using cases or covers included in the portable terminals and, therefore, easily sterilizes the portable terminal at any place while moving.본 발명은 휴대 단말기가 화면영역이 노출되도록 수용되는 케이스, 케이스에 마련되어 화면 영역으로 자외선을 조사하는 UV LED, 및 UV LED에 전원을 공급하는 전원부를 포함하는 것으로, 휴대 단말기에 부속되는 케이스나 커버를 이용하여 살균장치를 구성함으로써 휴대 단말기와 함께 항상 휴대할 수 있고, 장소에 구애되지 않고 이동 중에도 손쉽게 휴대 단말기를 살균할 수 있는 휴대 단말기의 살균장치에 관한 것이다.
