The magnetic resonance apparatus includes a scanning unit configured to execute a plurality of T2-weighted sequences having different echo times, and a plurality of diffusion-weighted sequences having different b factors, a first calculating unit configured to calculate a T2 value based on a plurality of T2-weighted images obtained by the plurality of T2-weighted sequences, a second calculating unit configured to calculate a perfusion fraction where the T2 value is not taken into account based on a first T2-weighted image in the plurality of T2-weighted images and a plurality of diffusion-weighted images obtained by the plurality of diffusion-weighted sequences, and a third calculating unit configured to calculate a perfusion fraction where the T2 value has been taken into account based on the T2 value calculated by the first calculating unit, and based on the perfusion fraction calculated by the second calculating unit.
