Disclosed is an essential oil composition with anti-free radical ability, which includes dl-Citronellol, Eugenol, cis/trans-Citral, Eugenol Methyl Ether and Thymol. It is confirmed that the essential oil composition of the present invention has superior anti-free radical ability and anti-oxidative ability according to the indices including DPPH free radical scavenging ability, ABTS+ free radical scavenging ability, metal ion chelating ability and reducing property, which are extensively used to determine the anti-oxidative ability of a substance.
