PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reduction in influence of sagging of a top plate on image quality.SOLUTION: A medical image diagnostic apparatus includes a rack device, a bed device, a rack driving part, an acquisition part and a control part. The rack device has an opening part into which a subject is inserted, and acquires information on the inner part of the subject by imaging the subject inserted into the opening part. The bed device supports the top plate where the subject is placed, so as to be movable toward the opening part by a cantilever. The rack driving part tilts the rack device. The acquisition part acquires an amount of vertical tilt of the top plate which is caused by shift of the top plate toward the opening part.
