PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting device in which a lifting member does not move from a predetermined position even when a fluid is discharged from a valve when an excessive fluid is supplied, in a lifting device using a fluid.SOLUTION: A lifting device 1 includes: a fluid supply source a drive mechanism 3 including a drive part 31 reciprocating and driving by inflow and discharge of a fluid a lifting member 4 moving upward/downward a supply passage 5 for conveying a fluid a discharge passage 6 for discharging the fluid a discharge valve 7 for discharging the fluid to the discharge passage 6 and a restriction mechanism 8 for restricting the movement of the lifting member 4 by supporting the lifting member 4. The restriction mechanism 8 includes: a restriction member 81 moving between a restriction position for restricting the lowering of the lifting member 4 and a retreat position for allowing the lifting member 4 to move from the lower side to the upper side and a release member 84 for moving the restriction member 81 to the retreat position.
