PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and methods for favorably viewing a body lumen and capturing its images.
SOLUTION: An assembly of a capsule endoscope and an endoscope is inserted into the body lumen. The capsule endoscope is positioned within the body lumen at a desired location from the endoscope, and images are obtained from the both sides of a desired location in the body lumen. In vivo procedures may be performed, while images of an affected part are obtained from the both sides of the location of the affected part.
