Use of a composition comprising at least one plant lectin, proteolytic enzyme and a selenium compound to produce a drug or dietary supplement, preferably for the balanced diet, and for simultaneous reduction of a spectrum of symptoms comprising nausea, vomiting/diarrhea, dry mucous membranes, joint pain, fatigue/weakness and skin irritation, in individuals who have undergone/undergoing radiotherapy and/or chemotherapy, is claimed.
