The present invention relates to a transgenic animal in which autism is induced by deletion of the Vrk3 gene. According to the present invention, a transgenic mouse having clinical characteristics of autism due to deletion of the Vrk3 gene can be obtained, and can be used to select candidates for treating autism.본 발명은 Vrk3 유전자가 결실되어 자폐증이 유발된 형질전환동물에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따르면 Vrk3 유전자의 결실로 인하여 자폐증의 임상학적 특징을 가지는 형질전환 마우스를 획득할 수 있고, 자폐증 치료제의 후보물질을 선별하는 데 사용할 수 있어 매우 유용하다.
