PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optometer that allows an eye to be examined being examined to be observed in an optional direction relative to a subject without being affected by a type of an optometer.SOLUTION: There is provided an optometer 10 equipped with an optometrical unit 20 that allows a vision function of an eye 2 to be examined to be corrected by arranging a plurality of optical elements 22 in front of the eye 2 to be examined selectively. The optometrical unit 20 is configured so as to reflect an optical axis B of a corneal collimation system forward, and observe a corneal apex position from a direction opposed to the eye 2 to be examined, and is attached with a deflection unit 30 removably for deflecting the optical axis B.
