How to treat or ameliorate a metabolic disorder using a GLP-1 receptor agonist conjugated to an antagonist against gastric inhibitory peptide receptor (GIPR)
Methods are provided for treating metabolic diseases and disorders using compositions comprising antigen binding proteins specific for a GIPR polypeptide conjugated to a GLP-1 receptor agonist. In various embodiments the metabolic disease or disorder is type 2 diabetes, obesity, dyslipidemia, elevated glucose levels, elevated insulin levels and diabetic nephropathy.
