A collecting method for a root portion of a plant is disclosed, which comprises the steps of: (A) planting at least one plant； (B) covering a light-sheltering layer on the root portion of the plant and a region where the root portion of the plant grows to form a non-soil cultivation space under the light-sheltering layer so that the root portion of the plant grows in the non-soil cultivation space； and (C) lifting open the light-sheltering layer so as to immediately cut off part of the root portion of the plant and to access the cut root portion.
