PURPOSE: An inhibitor of SARS-coronavirus 3CL activity and a composition containing the same for suppressing SARS-coronavirus 3CL activity are provided to prevent or treat SARS(severe acute respiratory syndrome). CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating SARS contains one or more compounds or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, or ester thereof as an active ingredient.
