PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the excellent operability of an endoscope by facilitating handling in the attachment, repair, replacement, etc., of a light source part and a light source driving circuit board, and by reducing the outer diameter of a box itself.
SOLUTION: In the light source box 14 which is arranged in an endoscope operation part so as to project perpendicularly to an endoscope axis, an LED part 21 and the light source driving circuit board 22 are attached to a single assembly holder 23. That is, the holder 23 is formed into a cylindrical body provided with an annular step 23D at the center part by reducing the outer diameter of the rear side, the LED part 21 is fixed with a screw 24 into the front cylindrical part of the holder 23, and the light source driving circuit board 22 is fixed to the rear cylindrical part with an adhesive. Then, by abutting a pressing ring 25 on the step 23D of the holder 23 and screwing and connecting a male screw part 25D of the pressing ring 25 to a female screw part 16C, the assembly 50 is fixed to the inside of a front support body 16.
