PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire including a curved tip part whose direction can be easily determined while the lubricity of the guide wire surface to the lumen inner wall is secured.SOLUTION: A guide wire includes: a linear part a curved part provided on the tip side of the linear part and a boundary part provided between the linear part and the curved part. The surface of the linear part is provided with a lubricating part, and at least the surface of the boundary part on the opposite side to the curving direction of the curved part is provided with a low-lubricating part having a lower lubricity than that of the lubricating part. Thus, the surface of the boundary part on the opposite side to the curving side of the curved part can be inhibited from moving smoothly to the lumen inner wall, so that the direction of the tip of the curved part can be easily determined. As a result, even in the branching part of the lumen, the tip of the guide wire can be surely made to approach a desired branch of the lumen.COPYRIGHT: (C)2014,JPO&INPIT【課題】管腔内壁などに対するガイドワイヤ表面の潤滑性を確保しつつ、湾曲形状の先端部の方向が定まり易いガイドワイヤを提供する。【解決手段】直線部と、直線部の先端側に設けられた湾曲部と、直線部と湾曲部との間に設けられた境界部とを備えるガイドワイヤにおいて、直線部の表面に潤滑部を設けるとともに、少なくとも湾曲部が湾曲する方向とは反対側の境界部の表面に、潤滑部よりも潤滑性の低い低潤滑部を設ける。これによって、湾曲部が湾曲する側とは反対側の境界部の表面が管腔内壁に対して滑ることを抑制することができるので、湾曲部の先端の方向が定まり易くなる。その結果、管腔が分岐する箇所でも、ガイドワイヤの先端を所望の分岐の管腔に対して確実に進入させることが可能となる。【選択図】図2
