PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that a conventional tool for measuring the height of a person at home is a large and space-consuming height meter, and it is difficult for a child to use such a height meter by oneself.SOLUTION: A height meter is equipped with a measurement body for measuring the height of a person. The measurement body is a right circular cylindrical body and includes: a peripheral wall part including a measurement part which touches the parietal region of a person to be measured while measuring the height, an outer face part on one end thereof, and a touching face part on the other end thereof. At least one or more magnet bodies are attached to the touching face part so as to be slidably moved and locked freely on the plate face made of a material which is magnetized by a magnetic field generated by a magnet. When the height is measured by joining the plate face made of a material which is magnetized by a magnetic field generated by a magnet to the touching face of the magnet bodies, the plate face, which is provided perpendicularly to the floor face, made of a material which is magnetized by a magnetic field generated by a magnet is perpendicular to the measurement part, and the lowest point of the outer peripheral edge of the touching face part and the measurement part are the same in height. Therefore, the height meter is space-saving, is not large, and makes it possible for a child to see a measurement point and easily use it even when the child uses it by oneself.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1COPYRIGHT: (C)2016,JPO&INPIT【課題】従来、家庭で身長を測る道具は、大きくて場所をとる身長計だったり、子供が自分一人で使うと使いにくいものだった。【解決手段】人の身長を測る計測体を備えた身長計であって、前記計測体は直円柱体であり、身長計測時に被測定者の頭頂部に当接される測定部を備えた周壁部と、一方の端に外面部と、もう一方の端に接面部を設け、前記接面部に磁石が発生させる磁場により磁化する材料の板面上を自由に摺動し自在に係止する少なくとも1つ以上の磁石体を取り付け、磁石が発生させる磁場により磁化する材料の板面と前記磁石体の当接面を結合させて身長を測定するとき、床面に対して垂直に設置された磁石が発生させる磁場により磁化する材料の板面と前記測定部が垂直であり、前記接面部の外周縁の最下点と前記測定部が同じ高さになる構成とした。これにより、場所もとらず、大掛かりでなく、子供が自分一人で使っても計測点が分かり使いやすくなった。【選択図】 図1
