PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress degradation in image quality of Doppler spectrum images caused by sound speed restriction of ultrasonic waves.SOLUTION: In an ultrasound diagnostic apparatus, a setting part sets a plurality of observation sites. A distance determining part compares the depth on a scanning line of at least one observation site among the plurality of observation sites with a prescribed threshold.
