PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerizable composition exhibiting excellent adhesiveness to dentin (particularly dentinum) when applied to a dental material, and to provide a polymerizable monomer which is a component thereof.

SOLUTION: Provided is a compound (A) is represented by formula (1) (wherein, G1, G2, G3, G4and G5represent each a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy group or a polymerizable group at least two thereof are polymerizable groups and at least two thereof are hydroxy groups). The polymerizable composition comprising the compound (A) is also provided.
