PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new agricultural machine designed to be usable both in weeding and furrow-opening activities in a farm, through detachably and appropriately mounting a weeding mechanism and a furrow opening mechanism to the traveling apparatus according to the purpose of service. SOLUTION: The new furrow opener also working as a paddy weeder 1 includes a traveling apparatus 2 in which a self-traveling wheel 4 is pivotedly attached to an appropriate position on the front end side of the main frame 3, steering bars 5 and 5 are provided at appropriate positions above the wheel 4, and a driving source 6 for the wheel 4 is provided on the rear end side of the main frame 3. In the traveling apparatus 2, a bracket 31 for weeding mechanism attachment provided near the self-traveling wheel 4 pivotedly attached part is detachably provided, via connective arms 8 and 8, with a weeding mechanism 7 having a horizontal rod 71 arranged with downward weeding agitating blades 76 on respective rows ranging over the multiple seedling rows, and another bracket 33 for furrow-opening mechanism attachment provided at an appropriate position midway of the main frame 3 is detachably provided, via a connective arm 92 extended upward from the end side, with a boat-tip-shaped furrow-opening mechanism 9.
