PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for using a protein neuregulin useful for treatment of neurological conditions, particularly schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis (MS), amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), apoplexy, traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury.SOLUTION: Provided is a recombinant neuregulin-1 isoform with solubility for producing a pharmaceutical preparation for treatment of neurological conditions. The neuregulin-1 isoform is preferred to have a molecular weight of 15-35 KD and an isoelectric point of 4-10 measured by SDS-PAGE. In the modified polypeptide of neuregulin-1 isoform, the modification is preferred to be selected from phosphorylation, glycosylation, methylation, myristylation, oxidation, and any combination thereof.【課題】神経学的状態の治療、特に、精神分裂病、双極性障害、うつ病、パーキンソン病、アルツハイマー病、てんかん、多発性硬化症（ＭＳ）、筋萎縮性側索硬化症（ＡＬＳ）、卒中、外傷性脳損傷及び脊髄損傷に対して有用である、タンパク質ニューグレリンの使用方法の提供。【解決手段】神経学的状態の治療用の医薬品の製造のための、溶解性を有する組み換えニューレグリン－１アイソフォーム。該ニューレグリン－１アイソフォームは、ＳＤＳ－ＰＡＧＥにより測定して、１５～３５ＫＤの分子量、４～１０の等電点を有することが好ましい。該ニューレグリン－１アイソフォームは、修飾したポリペプチドであり、該修飾が、リン酸化、グリコシル化、メチル化、ミリスチル化、酸化及びこの任意の組み合わせから選択されることが好ましい。【選択図】なし
