PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light trap device which can reduce the number of insects that invade indoors.SOLUTION: This light trap device 1A is set to a position in front, separated from a front wall 31 of a building 30, having an entrance 31a to the front wall 31 at a prescribed distance. The light trap device 1A is disposed close to the ground G and has a light-emitting portion comprising straight tube lamps 3 for emitting a light having an insect-attracting effect and louvers 4, and an adhesive sheet 5 for catching insects attracted by the light-emitting portion and flying at the periphery of the light-emitting portion.
