PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oily preparation for external use excellent in penetration property to skin (epidermis, dermis, subcutaneous tissue) in addition to mono-dispersibility and stability.
SOLUTION: This oily preparation for external use is characterized by including an active ingredient, a surfactant and an oily agent, wherein active particles containing the active ingredient are mono-dispersed in an oil phase containing the surfactant and oily agent, (1) the active ingredient is a crude medicine-extract component and/or a hydrophilic polymer having &ge1,000 molecular weight, (2) the mean particle diameter of the active particles is &le200 nm, and (3) the water content is &le0.5 wt.%.
