PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surgical cable, even when the vicinity of a tip end of a surgical cable made of a multifilament cable, is repetitively clampingly grasped by tweezers and forceps, preventing easy feazing thereof.SOLUTION: A surgical cable 10 includes: a cable body 10A formed by twisting or braiding a plurality of wire strands 12 and a tapered end 10B formed by welding the wire strands 12 to one another into a tapered shape as a whole.
