PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To concentrate decontamination mist on the surface of an article to be carried in by adopting a mist control mechanism, to achieve perfect decontamination effect by supplying an appropriate amount of decontamination agent, and to perform work such as aeration. Provided are a decontamination device capable of shortening the time and improving the efficiency of decontamination work, and a pass box in which the decontamination device is arranged. SOLUTION: A mist supply means and a mist control mechanism are provided, and the mist supply means converts a decontamination chemical solution into a decontamination mist and supplies it to the inside of a work room containing an article. The mist control mechanism includes a vibrating disc arranged near the inner wall surface of the work room, and ultrasonically vibrates the vibrating disc to generate an acoustic flow by ultrasonic waves in the direction perpendicular to the panel surface. Then, the decontamination mist supplied to the work room is pressed by acoustic radiation pressure so that the decontamination mist is concentrated on the outer surface of the article.
