A method for designing a patient specific orthopaedic device intended for an osteoarticular structure of a patient, based on at least two two-dimensional radiographic images of the osteoarticular structure taken respectively in two offset image-taking directions, comprising the following steps: b) locating anatomical points on the radiographic images； c) determining at least one three-dimensional geometrical feature of the patient by matching the anatomical points located at step b)； d) determining at least one three-dimensional size parameter of the orthopaedic device based on the geometrical feature of the patient determined at step c).La présente invention concerne un procédé de conception d'un dispositif orthopédique spécifique à un patient destiné à une structure ostéoarticulaire d'un patient, sur la base d'au moins deux images radiographique bidimensionnelles de la structure ostéoarticulaire prises respectivement dans deux directions de prise d'image décalées, comprenant les étapes suivantes : b) localisation des points anatomiques sur les images radiographiques ； c) détermination d'au moins une caractéristique géométrique tridimensionnelle du patient en faisant correspondre les points anatomiques localisés à l'étape b)； d) détermination d'au moins un paramètre de taille tridimensionnel du dispositif orthopédique sur la base de la caractéristique géométrique du patient déterminée à l'étape c).
