PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trowel capable of scooping a plant together with peripheral soil to easily transplant the plant. SOLUTION: Scooping parts 1 and 1a are made of metal or plastics, and each include a semi-cylindrical digging body 2 and a rod-shaped grip part 3. The digging body 2 is formed to be gradually tapered as it goes toward the tip, and the grip part 3 is fixed to the base end part thereof. The scooping parts 1 and 1a are disposed such that curved parts are opposite to each other, and both end surfaces of the scooping part 1 and the end part of an arm part 4 are connected to each other.
