To provide a chair type massage machine which achieves the smooth mounting and detachment of an arm part in a forearm part treating mechanism when the forearm part treating mechanism for massaging the forearm of a person to be treated is provided ON each armrest part by eliminating the factor that an erected wall of the forearm part treating mechanism unnecessarily pressures the arm of the person to be treated causing a discomfort and also makes the armrest parts be usable comfortably without being disturbed by the forearm part treating mechanism when the person to be treated stands up or sits down.
SOLUTION: In the chair type massage machine 1a, the armrest part 14a has a forearm insertion opening 61a for inserting the forearm part of the person to be treated from the inner side rear part of the armrest part 14a, a hollow part 62a which is extended from the forearm insertion opening 61a to insert and hold the forearm of the person to be treated is provided inside the armrest part 14a and the forearm part treating mechanism 6a for massaging the forearm part of the person to be treated is arranged at locations of the internal wall surface 621of a the hollow part 62a.
