PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical composition used for the prevention and treatment of a variety of conditions including pneumonia, arthritis, ulcers, diabetes mellitus, gastrointestinal (GI) cancer, lupus, psoriasis and early menopause in humans and animals, in a nutritional and/or supplemental regime, as well as, to improve feed and reproductive performance.SOLUTION: A pharmaceutical composition comprises as an active ingredient micrometer-sized sulphur particles (less than 300 micrometers).
