PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce pain of a patient when transnasally inserting an insertion section of an endoscope, by a simple constitution by preventing the insertion section from being strongly pressed against a nose wing or the like.
SOLUTION: This nose-worn protector 10 has a protector body 12 formed with an insertion pathway 11 for inserting the insertion section 2 of the endoscope 1 therein and, when a person wears the protector body 12 on the nose, the insertion pathway 11 is positioned inside the external nostril, however, it has such a length as being short in reaching a portion where the nasal cartilage constituting the nasal meatus such as middle nasal meatus is present.
