The objective of the present invention is to provide a skin care cosmetic, i.e. an antipollution cosmetic, that can effectively protect the skin from a variety of external irritants including UV rays as well as atmospheric pollutants and acidic liquids. The present invention provides a skin care cosmetic characterized by containing (A) 0.001-10 mass% of magnesium aluminometa silicate and (B) 1-40 mass% of a UV protection agent. The skin care cosmetic preferably further contains at least one selected from (C) a porous powder, (D) citric acid (salt), and (E) an antioxidant.本發明之目的在於提供一種可有效地保護皮膚以免受到不僅包含大氣污染物質或酸性液體亦包含紫外線之各種外界刺激之皮膚保養化妝料、即防污染化妝料。本發明提供一種皮膚保養化妝料,其特徵在於含有:(A)0.001~10質量%之矽酸鋁鎂、及(B)1~40質量%之紫外線防禦劑。本發明之皮膚保養化妝料較佳為進而含有選自(C)多孔性粉末、(D)檸檬酸(鹽)、及(E)抗氧化劑之至少1種。
