The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a red ginseng concentrate having increased content of an active ingredient and, more specifically, to a method for manufacturing a red ginseng concentrate having increased content of an active ingredient which comprises the steps of: i) selecting and heat-treating ginseng which is a raw material； ii) manufacturing a ginseng extract by mixing the selected ginseng with purified water to extract at a high temperature； iii) cooling the ginseng extract and removing impurities； iv) manufacturing a ginseng concentrate by concentrating and aging the ginseng extract in which the impurities are removed； and v) heating and sterilizing the ginseng concentrate in a tubular manner. The method for manufacturing the ginseng extract of the present invention destroys less active ingredient, especially AFG, during the heating and sterilization process of the red ginseng concentrate, thereby can be used for the method for manufacturing the ginseng concentrate having increased content of the active ingredient.본 발명은 유효성분의 함량이 증가된 홍삼 농축물의 제조 방법에 관한 것으로서, 보다 상세하게는 ⅰ) 원료가 되는 홍삼을 선별 및 열처리하는 단계； ⅱ) 상기 선별된 홍삼에 정제수를 혼합한 후 고온에서 추출하여 홍삼 추출물을 제조하는 단계； ⅲ) 상기 홍삼 추출물을 냉각시키고 불순물을 제거하는 단계； ⅳ) 상기 불순물이 제거된 홍삼 추출물을 농축 및 숙성시켜 홍삼 농축물을 제조하는 단계； 및 ⅴ) 상기 홍삼 농축물을 튜블러 방식으로 가열 및 살균처리하는 단계를 포함하는 유효성분의 함량이 증가된 홍삼 농축물의 제조 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명의 홍삼 농축물의 제조 방법은 홍삼 농축물의 가열 및 살균 과정에서 홍삼 내 유효성분, 특히 AFG의 파괴가 적으므로, 유효성분의 함량이 증가된 홍삼 농축물의 제조 방법으로 유용하게 사용될 수 있다.
