PURPOSE: A system for preventing piglets from being pressed to death and a method for operating the same are provided to prevent piglets from being pressed when pigs sit by preventing piglets from entering between legs of pigs.CONSTITUTION: A system (100) for preventing piglets from being pressed to death comprises an elevating unit (140), a fixed bottom unit (130), a detecting unit, a driving unit, and a control unit. The elevating unit is the bottom of a delivering frame (110), in which pigs stay for a predetermined of time, and elevates according to the postures of the pigs. The fixed bottom unit is arranged around the elevating unit, and piglets stay on the fixed bottom unit. The detecting unit detects the movement of the pigs. The driving unit elevates the elevating unit according to the result of the detecting unit.
