PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ultrasonic treatment device and an ultrasonic treatment method in which fresh food or a biological sample is not damaged or crushed when washing the fresh food or the biological sample.SOLUTION: An ultrasonic treatment device 1 includes a treatment tank 53 for accommodating an article to be treated, a washing water supply port 53a for guiding a jet flow from the bottom of the treatment tank 53 to the inside of the treatment tank 53, a washing water outflow port 53b through which the washing water outflows from the upper part of the treatment tank 53, and a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators 60 for irradiating an ultrasonic wave from the bottom to the inside of the treatment tank 53.
