The method comprises providing a substrate containing propagation pot that allows a lateral outgrowth in the propagation pot of forming roots, inserting a propagation container with the propagation pots in such a way that the propagation pots arranged in the respective propagation container have a part of its lateral peripheral surface contact with each other and are pressed against each other, introducing cuttings or seeds in the respective propagation pot, and forming the roots in the propagation pot of the respective propagation container. The method comprises providing a substrate containing propagation pot that allows a lateral outgrowth in the propagation pot of forming roots, inserting a propagation container with the propagation pots in such a way that the propagation pots arranged in the respective propagation container have a part of its lateral peripheral surface contact with each other and are pressed against each other, introducing cuttings or seeds in the respective propagation pot, forming the roots in the propagation pot of the respective propagation container, until a root of a root network outgoing from the propagation pots is laterally formed, where the root network connects the propagation pots into the propagation container to a propagation pot cluster, removing the propagation pot cluster from the respective propagation container, and repotting the propagation pot cluster in a culture vessel for finished product. The substrate: has a water-holding capacity and a pH-value； and contains a growth inhibitor, pesticides and fungicide. The propagation containers are arranged on a propagation tray. The propagation pots are fleece pots, Jiffypot(RTM: Flower and vegetable planting pots), and Preforma-pot(RTM: Plant plug system).
